Casey Teson is a basketball skills trainer based in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area. A graduate of St. Charles High School, Casey went on to play collegiate basketball at Eastern Illinois and Maryville University before competing professionally overseas in Germany. He brings years of playing and coaching experience to help players at every skill level grow their game.
At Casey Teson Basketball Academy, the focus is on developing fundamentals—shooting, dribbling, footwork, decision-making, and game-like situations—while building confidence on and off the court.
Regular basketball training enhances cardiovascular stamina, strength, speed, and agility, helping players stay fit and injury-resistant.
Through drills, team drills, and structured sessions, athletes learn collaboration, communication, and self-control, building mental resilience as well as court skills.
Participants don’t just sharpen fundamentals; they develop game IQ, strategic awareness, and confidence, foundations that can lead to advanced play or even a professional path.
I trust Casey completely with basketball training for my son, Luke. He is an excellent teacher, pays attention to detail and cares about him on and off the court. Luke’s growth as a high school basketball player can be attributed directly to the last several years working with Casey.
Casey Teson is arguably the best player to ever come out of St. Charles County. State Champion, Missouri Player of the Year, Casey is quickly becoming one of the best basketball trainers in the state.
Our son is a different player than he was before he started working with Casey. His shooting and ball handling are on a whole new level, and more importantly, his confidence on the court has increased dramatically. Casey is second-to-none in teaching both skills and the mental aspect of the game, which is overlooked by most trainers out there. Casey has also become a role model and mentor to our son, which is invaluable for today’s youth.
Casey does a great job of pushing my kids to realize their full potential. He challenges them to improve in the areas they have gaps, and highlights the areas where they are strong. They have become smarter and better players by working with and learning from Coach Teson.
My two kids and countless others that play on their team have participated in skills work with Casey for nearly two years. Not only have they improved their game, but they really enjoy their workouts. The knowledge and experience of the game Casey brings are so beneficial to their development. He has great chemistry with each and every one of them.

We welcome players of all skill levels. Beginners learn the fundamentals like dribbling, passing, and shooting, while advanced players focus on higher-level skills such as decision-making, scoring moves, and game IQ.
Each session is focused on improving basketball fundamentals—ball handling, footwork, defense, shooting, and passing. Players also learn how to read the game better, make smart decisions, and build confidence on the court.
Players should bring basketball shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, a water bottle, and their own basketball if possible. We’ll provide the structure, drills, and fun.
